Add the specified amount of detergent needed following the directions on the package. Mix detergent in water by hand. Allow this to soak for at least 20 minutes. I am the team coordinator for three men’s league Ice Hockey teams (LSI, Canadians and Bombers). We received some trials of the Stink free sport wash for our jerseys and equipment. We have a tendency to play lots of games in one week and sometimes other sport washes and detergents don’t get the funk out, but this product has done wonders for our team. We love this stuff. We have even gotten questions from other teams on the ice about the wonderful smell. Thanks 2 toms and Medi_dyne from all of us at the LSI Family for keeping us smelling fresh.
I used the detergent on an load of very smelly laundry, about two-week's worth of training outfits during the heat of the Texas summer. They did not smell good when they went in, but smelled just fine on the way out! I like that there isn't a strong scent with the detergent- it just takes the unpleasant ones away. I can't stand scented detergents because when you get sweaty in them later it can be overwhelming.
First off, I wanted to give a little background information. I recently moved out in to my own apartment that does not have accessible laundry, I have run in to the issue of needing immediate washing (spilling, long sweaty runs, etc) and I haven't been able to get to a laundry mat in time to get the stains/smells out. BUT with this new detergent I can fill my sink and quickly get out the messes with out ruining my clothes! I LOVE IT! It makes it sooo much easier and I wish I had this sooner. Plus they smell fresh and clean once they are dry!
We went to Chicago last weekend and my husband and I ran on Saturday morning in the humidity. When we returned to the hotel, he just rinsed his running clothes in the shower while I soaked mine in Stinkfree for 20 minutes then rinsed. My clothes smelled great and when we returned (home) I put them in my closet. My husband's had to be put in a plastic bag and then washed when we got home. I will tell (people) who love to run while traveling about my experience with Stinkfree!!!
